JOÃO VLADIMIRO graduated from Fine Arts School in Graphic Design in 2005. Since 2000 he is an active member of Circolando (physical theatre company) working as an actor, creator, designer and film director in performances such as Caixa Insólita, Rabecas, Giroflé, Charanga, Cavaterra and Quarto Interior. In 2006 he attended a course in documentary film direction devised by Ateliers Varan at Calouste Gulbenkian Foudation. In 2006 he directed the film PÉ NA TERRA (Best Portuguese Short Film Award-‐IndieLisboa Film Festival). In that same year he directed the documentary JARDIM. In 2012, he directed LACRAU, which won best Portuguese feature film and the prize Tree of Life at Indielisboa 2013. He is currently working on the post-‐production of the film A LÃ E A NEVE.
