Aron Sekelj was born in 1988 in Belgrade, Serbia. From 2008 to 2012, BA Studies in Film Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade (Fdu Beograd), during which he completed one collaborative feature-length film and numerous short fiction, documentary and experimental films. In 2012, he moved to Hamburg, Germany to pursue a MFA degree in Film at the University of Fine Arts (Hochschule für bildende Künste), graduating in 2016 with the experimental documentary project Landscapes of War, Landscapes of Peace. Currently living and working in Belgrade and Hamburg.
