CHEN Yi-Zhu holds an MFA in Trans-disciplinary Arts from Taipei University of the Arts, and a BA from the Department of Radio, Television & Film at Shih Hsin University. Her work re-reads, re-constructs and investigates images to explore the multifaceted nature of reality/memory in the form of film experiments. She won the Gold Award in the Taiwan competition of the 25th Women Make Waves IFF and was shortlisted for the TIDF, Taipei FF, and Kaohsiung FF, Singapore IFF and Syros IFF. She used to be a TV eco-program planning commissioner, cultural and educational media program planning executive , and is now an independent filmmaker.
