Peri Azar (Argentina, 1978). Scriptwriter, director, producer and editor of her latest film, Grand Orchestra (Best Director Award of the latin American Competition BAFICI 2019) where she also did the original music and cinematography.
Her work focuses on the reuse of founding footage, with a special interest in the home and private archive.
She is a staff member of the Cinema Museum of Buenos Aires and of several private archives. She produces and directs for 8A-110. Her work as a photographer and visual artist has been exhibited in Argentina, Colombia, Spain, France, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico and Germany.
