Eduardo Makoszay Mayén is a filmmaker and writer. His projects interweave transdisciplinary research processes concerning ecology, technology and cosmogony. Eduardo co-organizes Materia Abierta, a summer school on theory, art, and technology based in Mexico City. His films have screened at Ji.hlava, FICUNAM, Sitges, Open City Docs, CPH:DOX and Black Canvas. He published the texts “Technicity and the Magical Unity” at the Oscillations Journal, “Mesology of the terra preta” at the Technophany publication of the Research Network for Philosophy and Technology, and “Film and Cosmosemiosis” in the UMBRALES book published by FICUNAM.
