Rita Bakacs was born in Hungary and lives in Berlin. She studied Comparative Literature at the University of Rochester, NY and Computer Linguistics, German and English Philology at the University of Cologne. After getting her Masters degree she has been working as a researcher, writer and editor for various media production companies and university media programmes, as well as making documentary films.
