Elinor Nechemya is a writer-director based in Tel-Aviv. Her latest short film If It Ain't Broke * premiered at the Semaine de la Critique of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. Her previous short films *Our Hearts BEAT Like War (2020) and Everlasting Mom (2017) both premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and were also screened in festivals such as Locarno, Sarajevo, and Palm Springs. She is currently working on her debut feature - Island, featured in the NEXT STEP program of the Semaine de la Critique.
