Gabe Klingeris a brazilian-born filmmaker known for his feature films PORTO (2016) and DOUBLE PLAY: JAMES BENNING AND RICHARD LINKLATER (2013), Klinger is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including a Venice Film Festival Lion for Best Documentary on Cinema. His short film BERGMAN’S GHOSTS (2021) was selected for inclusion in the Criterion Collection release of Mia Hansen-Løve’s Cannes Competition feature BERGMAN ISLAND (in which Klinger is a cast member). His upcoming feature project DREYANA GROOMS, set in the world of Chicago gangs, was a selection of the International Film Festival Rotterdam CineMart.
