Debankon is a filmmaker and graphic designer. His films explore the inner world of the human psyche searching for meaning while contemplating the outside world. His interests lie with understanding traditional knowledge systems, anthropology and the history of the land. His engagement is with image and meaning making. He is young filmmaker with two years of professional experience. In this period, he has directed and produced several short and long films. He is a student of music, learning Sarangi and teaches film as a guest faculty across India.
