Macarena Aguiló was born in 1971. She studied audiovisual Communications in Chile and have been worked as an Art Director in several movies and TV series. Her first film as a director, The Chilean building, an autobiographical documentary film, has been screening in 25 countries and winning more than 15 awards around the world. After that experience, she has contributed on other documentary films, such as Final Image by Andrés Habegger, and The Other Side of La Moneda by Marcia Tambutti. As well she currently works as a partner-‐producer of El Espino Films and as a University Professor.
