Nicolas Videla is a Chilean filmmaker and performance artist, working as a director, producer, editor, scriptwriter and photographer. Their films intend to expand the limits of documentary cinema through hybridization, artifice, archives and staging, having been screened, awarded and distributed widely at international festivals. Their projects are based on intimacy, affectivity and collaboration with their characters, emphasizing dissident gender/sexual subjectivities and memories in tension with the social context.
