Born in Radom, from 1982 lives in Sweden. Graduate of the Department of Clasical Filology at the University of Toruń and Department of Journalism at the University of Warsaw He collaborates with a number of television channels, including TVP, ZDF and ARTE. Śladkowski has produced and directed over 40 films, mostly documentaries. His picture Swedish Tango won the IDA Award and his documentary Vendetta received Prix Arte for the best European documentary.
